Whilst working in Performing Arts spaces, you are responsible for your own safety.

Our Code of Practice can be found on our Forms & Policies page. It covers day-to-day working in the studios, but additional Risk Assessments may be deemed necessary when an activity falls outside of normal studio practice. All productions require a show-specific Risk Assessment which you are asked to prepare ahead of your performance. More information on how to complete Risk Assessments can be found on our Risk Assessments page. Learning Support staff are happy to help you with risk assessments.

Any electrical items brought onto site will need PAT testing before use. Please bring these items to Learning Support or to the Helpdesk located on Level 4. Never use untested or faulty electrical equipment and highlight any issues you encounter to Learning Support at the first possible instance.

First Aid incidents need bringing to the attention of Leeds Beckett staff. If you require First Aid outside of Learning Support operating hours, please see security at the reception desk on Lower-Ground.
